And a bathroom for patients………on top of the mountain

Today I am…………….

preparing to fly to South Africa with my wife Hildah for a week of meetings; writing the proposal for a public/private partnership for the Hospital in the Hills between J1010 and the Ugandan government; and marvelling at how far we have come with the construction of the ‘Hospital in the Hills’. I know that we are in the home straight because this week I spent £1,000 on paint. God never fails to provide. He’s amazing – I wish I’d been in business with HIM all my life!

The toilets and basins are plumbed in, the shower is working, the placenta pit is half-dug and the benches are nearly completed. We start painting next week.

And the week after we will start negotiating with government about the partnership that I believe will lift standards of care, create an environment of love and prayer, offer physical, mental and spiritual healing,  provide comfort and hope, win new disciples for Jesus and glorify God.

And so…..PLEASE pray…

  • That God’s will for this project is described by me in the Partnership document
  • That Government accepts and improves our ideas
  • That the last stages of the construction are completed successfully
  • For a safe and successful trip to South Africa (at a difficult time for that country) and return to Kabale
  • That God’s Spirit will continue to drive and prosper everything that we do

Thank you.
